The Cisco Forth-generation Analog voice network interface card NIM-4E/M integrates 4 ports ear and mouth (E/M) to support tie-line facilities or signals between telephone switches. The network interface card NIM-4E/M with Cisco 4000 series router connects to PBX system delivers VOIP with the legacy voice solution. The new generation analog voice network module has build-in DSP (Digital signal processor) and does not require the router to have the dedicated PVDM on the motherboard, and it also provides for echo cancellation of up to 128-ms echo-tail for demanding network conditions.
